   A man with Indian, Pakistani Accent calls and log on as Microsoft workers and want my computer details and banking information. Previously, they have called several times with different phone number. A woman with same accent was also there. They speak in English.

   I just got a call through this number. He said that there was a problem with my Windows computer. When I told hem that I would no give him access to my computer, not in a miljon years, he called ME stupid for a few times and hung up. So be aware!!!

   Just had this number call (code for Cerro de Pasco, Peru) - but I never pick up the phone. Worst thing you can do, as it confirms to the other end yours is a proper phone number which will now be sold on to every piece of scum in the known universe. This explains the silent treatment from any real person (low-lifeform) at the other end. Let the phone ring until the other end gets fed up and ends the call, then dial 1471 and note down the number. Google it to see what scum has tried to get you to allow them to waste your time and stress you out to boot. In my own case a good 95% and more calls are in this category. One day I’m going to live in a world where all such useless lowlifes are sent to a remote planet in outer space and quarantined there.

   Caller was male with a foreign accent asking for my son-in-law by name. Advised at work then asked if I was a family member. Usual scam of one sort or another! Ignore.

    Received calls from same number 005164536886, left it to go to answerphone, no message left. Best thing to do with unknown numbers especially out of country ones. Had similar calls several times before claiming to be from Microsoft or other tech companies. Just lead them on to gather information & report them to OFCOM or police, or just hang up & don't waste your time, there could be a reverse charge attached to such calls

    Call from this number form a women. Said she was calling about my computer it had a problem, said i don't have a computer she said a laptop I said I don't have one. She hung up mutter "jesus"

    Said I had overpaid SKY £200 & wanted to confirm my details. I said you should already have them & to put a cheque in the post, they then started to say calls were recorded for training etc. & hung up

    Scam. Fake microsoft technician. Indian accent based in India try to get access to your computer to get private financial information. They have a fake UK no as well 08000903264. Do not give them any details.

    Someone called two times my phone with an interval of 1h. I live in Spain and I have no relatives or friends in Peru.
    I was outside home: I didn't pick up the phone. I agree with Dave Strickland. Probably is the worst you can do. If you don't pick up the phone the caller doesn't know if it is anyone at the other end and either if the number he/she phoned exist or not in that country(from Peru they doesn't know about the way your company deal with not used numbers, with spear numbers.

    Rang claiming worked for Bt, internet was falling and needed access to my computer to resolve issues. have seen on tv shows you should ask for a number to ring back on to confirm genuine, number given was 0215 - when I said that this didn't sound like a BT number they hung up.

    This number keeps on ringing and saying hello on my answerfone in a bid to get me to answer thinking its a friend. Everyone i know has my mobile number and evety company im with knows to email me . Im deaf so cannot answer it so i know when its a scammer.

    005164536886 called me today, 0051 is a Peru code however an Indian lady was on the other line. A smile appeared on my face when I realised she was performing the "hello i'm from the Microsoft security department" scam and I promptly informed her I was in neither the mood to play along nor had the time. Interesting to hear so many others receive simular calls from Indian accented scammers calling from Peru insisting there was a problem with my computer

    A man called today with and Indian/Asian sounding accent. He said he was calling about my computer. I knew it was a scam, as I've had calls like this before, so I laughed and said "Oh yes". He continued to say there were error messages reported from my computer. I covered the mouth piece of the phone to tell my son that I've got a scam call, but the man heard me and asked in a rude voice "What did you say, I heard you say something?" to which I replied to get lost in not so polite words. We always play along with these scammers, having a good laugh whilst pissing them off!

    Called asking about my computer looking for 'Joseph'. I said no, he asked had I forgotten my name in the last 2 minutes. Then proceeded to mock how I pronounced 'No'. It was actually a hilariously baffling phone call, prompted me to google the number and find this. Good to know I'm not the only one to find this Indian sounding man rude.

    called today for about the fifth time, usual spiel about 'problem with my windows computer'. I said 'if you think I'm falling for that you're an idiot' at which point the male Indian voice said that I was the f****** idiot. Nice!

    called daily for two weeks asking my address and trying to suggest computer had a virus. I told the Indian lady each time it was a scam and I would report her, she shouted abuse down the phone and hung up

    They phoned up about a windows file on my computer saying that it was reporting errors about the even viewer this is obviously incorrect. I asked if they were trying to scam me or put a virus on my computer and they said that they were a legitimate company trying to help I laughed a little, the woman (indian accent) said you are laughing I am going to report you to the police, to which I reply oh really for what, she then hung up. This number is a trap for people who are not very knowledgeable about computers.

    Foreign [?] woman called stating she was from a company dealing with errors reported on Windows Computer. When pressed about what model I had could only answer a 'Windows Computer'... Asked her more probing questions about who she worked for, became aggressive. Not long after telling her I was actually a Police Officer she rang off.
    [?] Might be Southern Caribbean accent, not sure, was certainly aggressive.
    Not the first call from this number, but the first I felt sharing.

    Hablan varias veces a mis teléfonos según ellos del banco Santander ofreciendo una tarjeta de crédito, pero el número corresponde a Perú y yo vivo en México. Los números oficiales del banco no son los mismos. No se como obtuvieron la base de datos telefónica. Tengan mucho cuidado al proporcionar datos.

    call received from Indian woman asking for my partner claiming that there was a claim outstanding for a motor vehicle accident. Car has never been involved in any accident, has claimed she will ring back.
